When do you need an external lift?

Common cases where the staircase is not an option.

🚪 Narrow or spiral staircase

Furniture does not fit through the staircase and disassembly would cost as much as the lift. The window solves it in hours.

🛗 Small or broken lift

Community lifts under 1 m won't take sofas, mattresses or large appliances. And they don't block neighbours.

🏢 High floors (5th + )

From the 5th floor upwards, staircase cost and risk skyrocket. The lift reaches 12 floors (40 m).

🎹 Piano, safe, sculptures

Heavy pieces (>150 kg) that can't safely go up the staircase. The platform carries up to 400 kg per trip.

🚚 Urgent same-day move

Fast loading via window or balcony. The home is emptied in 3-4 hours, no traffic jam at the entrance.

🏗 Renovations and large appliances

Delivery of new sofa, king-size mattress or American-size appliance that doesn't fit through the front door.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions answered straight.

Do I need permission from the town hall to install the lift? +
In Madrid capital, yes: a street occupation permit is required. We handle the paperwork with the town hall (24-48 h before) including the municipal fee if applicable. Not needed in private developments.
What height can the lift reach? +
Our fleet covers from 12 metres (4th floor) up to 40 metres (12th floor). In high-rise or skyscrapers up to 60 metres with hired reinforcement. Exact height is decided after measuring the building on a preliminary visit (or by photo/plan).
How much weight can the platform lift in one trip? +
Standard tray supports 400 kg per trip. Enough for: 3-seat sofa + king mattress, or American appliance + cart, or dismantled upright piano. For a full grand piano (450-600 kg) we use a reinforced platform with special harness.
How long does it take to lift all the furniture of a home? +
A 2-bedroom home: 3-4 hours of lift time plus 1-2 hours of prior packing and loading. 3-4 bedroom home: 5-6 hours of lift time. Full move (with our movers): single day. Main advantage: you don't block the neighbours' lift for hours.
Is the operator insured and what training does he have? +
Yes. The operator has a lift-specific licence (IPAF training 3a/3b), occupational safety certificate and is covered by our RC insurance with minimum €600,000 coverage for third-party and property damage.
What happens if it rains or is very windy on moving day? +
In light rain we work with protective tarps over the load. With wind over 45 km/h, IPAF regulations require suspending service for safety. We reschedule at no extra cost to the first available slot (usually next day).
